The Associated Students of the University of Utah's Sustainability Board is responsible for helping students increase their engagement and reduce their individual environmental impact and advocating for institutional policy changes that improve overall campus environmental sustainability.

The Sustainability Board is becoming increasingly responsible for events like Recycle Rice Eccles and Recycle the Huntsman as the board becomes more engaged with Athletics departments here at the University of Utah. The board also hosts social activities such as the Sustainable Soap-Making Activity and Sustainable Cooking Nights. The board hopes to foster connections between student organizations that are focused on personal accountability, environmental sustainability, and decreasing the environmental impacts of the University of Utah departments.
